Waltz For Mom (2499)

about

"Waltz For Mom" was written for my mother, Violet Lorraine Jackson Burnett. She ultimately was many things to many people, including each of her nine living children. As the exact middle child among my siblings, I had the opportunity to see her at various stages of adult life from her thirties until she passed away at 88. The biggest thing I learned from my mom was that a life well lived never stops growing and improving. Not all of my siblings were able to experience this side of her and that fact is sort of said because they didn't get to know her completely. The quality and content of your life are not someone else's responsibility, those are yours alone to deal with. Mom did that beautifully.
